I was thrilled when I read that Dr Ragan Chatterjee was bringing his book tour to Bristol. I had the book and I’d preordered Happy Mind, Happy Life as soon as I saw it advertised.

I’d then done what I usually do, flicked through it, intending tomake the time, then tidied it up and then popped on my bookshelf and not really read it, just skimmed through I am embarrassed to say…
Anyway the excitement to actually see the author, hear him speak and bring the book to life was an opportunity I didn’t want to miss out on. I guess there was a bit of FOMO in there as well.
So I got two tickets and invited my husband to come with me – not his usual thing, but thought he’d enjoy it. I was totally fan girling…
On May 9th 2022, it looked and felt like we’d joined everyone in Bristol who’d turned out to hear him speak.
It was brilliant and though provoking and well, just inspiring.
We went for a pizza and wine after and well, that was us – making a plan to ONLY do the things that make us happy.
That includes:
- Stopping spending time with people who do not have us happy.
- Stepping away from the negative people and the nay sayers…
- Being together more.
- Walking our Goldie together.
- More time at the beach
- Adventures
- Exercising together
- Healthier bodies
- Healthier choices
- Time out
- A simpler way of life
He’s very good at the mind stuff, I have to work much harder at it.
